Mama Buckskin’s last foal was Mesquite, March 2015. At that time, Mama B’s condition was poor. Over the next few years she began to put on weight and was not going into season. By 2018, Mama B was looking good for her 20 plus years and better than she had for many years.
2019 brought a surprise for to this writer as she was thinking Mama B was really filling out because of the good spring we had. Mama B had a foal, a healthy, sorrel filly. However, physically, the pregnancy has taken a lot out of her.
The cousins twins are growing and healthy. A few ribs are beginning to show an a few of the others.
