The fighting between the stallions was intermittent. The foal learned quickly to move out of their way.
As he only had one mare to protect, the older cremello was able to stay between her and palomino, preventing the young stud from “driving” his mare away.
****This is one way a foal can become separated from it’s dam. If a stud runs a mare long enough, the foal will not be able to keep up.
