We drove down to the Marsha mine today to do some exploring.
We stopped on our way and walked across the bajada, to an arch we saw on a ridge, in the same valley. While up there, we saw skulls of a coyote and probably a desert sheep.
We drove up the wash a bit more. We noticed a square baking dish, weathered lumber, a pocket tobacco tin and a woven wire mesh bed. All items associated with a 1900s mining camp.
