From a mountain top, we saw a cabin that had fallen in on itself. It sat in a narrow ravine, about a quarter mile below a mine.
After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to locate the area from below, we hiked over the mountain.
We passed the mine as we went down, knowing we would explore more on our way back up. It was 3/4 closed off, from the outside.
Track ran from the shaft to the end of the tailings, above the loading bin. There were numerous wooden planks and a wire sifter.
The trail began below the loading bin. We walked it down to the cabin.
